You lock eyes with a foe, pronounce judgment, and send a single
round to carry the sentence. The shot lands hard, may break the
target's footing, and can fill their face with smoke, grit, and
pain. Against those already marked by the Outer Dark,
judgment bites deeper.
Judgment Round is a control shot for Occultists who want more than
raw damage. It is meant to disrupt a dangerous enemy, spoil their
next exchange, and leave them open for cruel follow-up.
<Syntax> judgment <target>
<Requires> Occultist
<Cost> Devotion 2, 1 round
<Weapon> Must be wielding a loaded firearm
<Target> One enemy
<Effects> Fires a damaging judgment shot at the target.
<Effects> Deals bonus damage if the victim bears Outer Dark mark.
<Effects> May stagger the target, lowering dexterity and buckling
their stance for a short time.
<Effects> May gritblind the target, reducing hitroll and damroll
briefly.
<Effects> May trigger extra follow-up attacks if your system
grants them.
<Effects> Can follow with concealed neck and knee shots if the
victim survives and remains in the room.
<Limits> Fails if your firearm is empty.
<Notes> A strong mid-fight control shot for slowing dangerous
foes and pressing advantage.
