While the ward holds, incoming attacks may be turned aside entirely, and a blocked strike can answer back with a sudden thunderous blast. Ka's Ward is an early defensive litany for Occultists who want to stay standing in close fights. It sharpens your poise, hardens your frame against punishment, and lets danger slide past by inches rather than landing clean. <Syntax> callka <Requires> Occultist <Cost> None <Duration> Roughly 6 to 8 minutes <Effects> Raises dodge, hitroll, damroll, damage reduction, arcane dampening, bullet impact defense, and grants a small one-hit buffer. <Ward> Around a 25% chance to fully negate an incoming hit. <Counter> On a successful block, players have a 50% chance to answer with a blast. NPCs counter less often. <Notes> Toggle skill. Use it again to dismiss the ward. <Notes> Best used before pressure starts, or when you expect to be focused hard in melee or ranged combat.
