The Occultist is a zealot who prays to powers that answer back. What begins as fervor curdles into obsession as whispers from the Outer Dark reshape faith into something older and less kind. Occultists bear guns etched in crooked scripture, but their true tools are chants that twist chance, body, and bullet alike. Occultists earn Devotion: +1 when they land a killing blow with a gun, which will rise throughout your class remort journey. They spend Devotion to speak litanies — harsh, fast chants outside the normal spell system. Litanies heal, harden, or bend fate, and many grow stronger against targets bearing your mark. Additionally, they will gain more litanies, actual spells, and other new abilities throughout gaining class remorts.
