Ideally, your password should be something that nobody could guess. In reality, most people choose a password that is easy to remember and they never change it. While passwords on most MUDs are encrypted there is no rule that they have to be. So please NEVER use a password on a MUD that you use anywhere else. Choose a separate MUDding password and change it occasionally. If you forget your password any IMP can reset it for you.
