SCAVENGERS-INSTINCTS

reference

Also known as: SCAVENGER

OUTLANDER Class - [OLN] Scavenger's Instincts - Level 5 Scavenger's Instincts is the outlander's habit of checking the dead twice before walking on. Pouches, plate gaps, ammo slings, and boot rigs all get a fast, practiced sweep. On a good pull, the skill sweeps enemy corpses and remains in the room for matching magazines, loose rounds for your current guns, grenades, and the odd field pack. Each body is marked as picked so you cannot strip the same corpse twice. Used with a corpse name, you work that body alone. Used with no argument, you sweep every scavengeable corpse in the room in one pass, up to the skill's internal grab limit. Even a dry run still leaves boot-prints. A poor check spends less stamina, marks what you touched, and turns up nothing but lint and bone chips. When there were bodies to search and nothing of value was found, there is a small chance to turn up quick aid or loose credits instead. Syntax: scavenge scavenge <corpse / remains> Requires: Outlander Cost: 60 MOVE on a full sweep, less on a failed pull Limits: affects only enemy dead in the room; each corpse can be worked once before it is considered picked clean
