Two sets of Open/Close pairs are allowed so that the shop can be open twice a day (for example, once in the morning and once at night). There are 24 hours in a MUD day so setting closed to >24 will ensure the shop is always open. If you want the shopkeeper to only be open during normal working hours you can set open1 to 9 and close1 to 5.
