Help: Shinobi Name: Shinobi Classes: Ninja Position: Any Syntax: shinobi Description: Shinobi is a level 25 movement skill that lets Ninjas slip along their hidden rune path. With a single breath and a blur of motion, the Ninja and nearby comrades step from their current room back to the marked Rune. Usage: First, inscribe a Rune with rune in the room you wish to return to. Later, type shinobi to attempt a Shinobi step. If your Rune still exists in the same zone, you will vanish and reappear at the mark. All grouped allies in the same room who are able to move will be pulled with you to the Rune, making Shinobi a powerful group reposition tool. Effects: - Teleports you to the room where your personal Rune is inscribed. - Pulls your group members in the same room along the Rune path with you, if they are able to move. - Consumes a significant amount of movement points on use. - The Rune is consumed when Shinobi succeeds and must be re-created with Rune before you can step again. - Shinobi only functions while your Rune remains in the same zone as your current location. - When used in combat, Shinobi may allow a risky escape based on your skill and focus. Failure wastes some movement and leaves you in place. Restrictions: - Only Ninjas can use Shinobi. - You must already have an active Rune in the same zone. - You need enough movement points to complete the step, or it fails. - Certain wards that block recall or astral effects can prevent Shinobi from carrying you along the Rune path. Additional Information: Rune and Shinobi are designed to be used together. A clever Ninja marks a junction or safe room with Rune, pushes deeper into tunnels or streets, then snaps the group back with Shinobi when the mission is finished or the fight becomes too hot. Used well, these skills turn the zone into a personal network of shadow paths.
