Description:
Items with +Spellpower increase the effectiveness of magic and combat, much like +Damage boosts physical attacks.
Mechanics:
- Each point of Spellpower grants +1 flat bonus to:
• Your total Damroll• Spell damage• Skill damage• Melee damage• Spell healing (outgoing)
- Applies only when your class is one of: Curist, Slinger, Heretic, Voidstriker, Gypsy.
- Bonus is per cast/use/hit and stacks additively with other modifiers.
Examples:>sli 'cure light' target — target receives base healing + Spellpower HP.
>sli 'magic missile' target — missile damage increases by + Spellpower.
>sli 'disintegrate' target — damage increases by + Spellpower (on top of the spell’s normal scaling).
Notes:
- The bonus can come from remorting and your equipment +Spellpower.
- Works with all eligible spells/skills/melee strikes used by the listed classes.
- So, a ring with +4 damage and +4 spellpower will give a barbarian +4 damage, nothing else.
This ring will give one of the above listed classes a total of +8 to their damroll and +4 to
spell output whether its for damage or healing. Note that healing is scaled/capped to cap
the ability of a spell like cure light healing 1000hp for 4 mana.
- for every 4 spellpower a slinger get +1 armor (makes your armor worse)
